THE SOUND YOU DESERVE, THE TECHNOLOGY YOU NEED

In the era of in-the-box production, the difference between a track that merely sounds good and one that truly moves people lies in its sonic substance. In our studio, we have broken down the wall between past and future to offer you a hybrid workflow without compromise: the untamed soul of analog and the surgical flexibility of digital. We have designed every inch of our space to provide impeccable acoustics and a seamless workflow, allowing you to focus solely on your performance. Whether it’s a single or a full album, here you will find the perfect audio chain to bring your vision to life.

STUDIO STRUCTURE

Control Room

A 35-square-meter diamond-shaped structure, acoustically optimized and floating, insulated and controlled according to a custom design to prevent interference from and to the outside. The control room is free from noise and heat that could interfere with the production workflow; the machines that generate heat and noise are well isolated in a mechanically decoupled “Machine Room” adjacent to the control room, so as to trap any unwanted and disturbing stray sources. The extensive patchbay system is the central hub between the connections of the recording rooms, all of which converge with the equipment and the Neve console through Klotz cabling and tie lines, in order to preserve maximum audio quality and keep interference and loops to a minimum. The racks located behind the console house most of the outboard gear, which is also connected to the patchbays.

Sound Lock/Vocal Booth

Between the control room and the main Live Room there is a comfortable and highly functional Sound Lock with an irregular geometric shape, serving two purposes: first, to isolate mechanical interference from the Live Room by decoupling it through a system of multiple floating micro-chambers; second, to function as a Vocal Booth for recording vocals, saxophone, acoustic guitars, and more. The Vocal Booth is inter-connected with the control room through an intelligent Wall Box system with CAT5 connections, allowing internet network access as well as digital format conversion for video, audio, USB, and more. It is also possible to install a video monitor inside the room to follow the recording process or display track sheets, lyrics, or notes.

Live Room

This is the main live room, used primarily for drum recording and ensemble sessions. The room measures approximately 25 square meters and, once again, features an intentionally irregular shape to minimize standing waves as much as possible and reduce phase cancellation during recording. Here too, a large wall box, including both audio and digital connections, enables communication with the Control Room. In this room, the digital connections are doubled, and it is always possible to set up a screen to follow tracking sessions, lyrics, or other guidelines.

ReAmp Room

This is the smallest room in the studio, created out of a cavity wall space, yet wide enough to house a whole range of cabinets for direct recording or for reamping pre-recorded sources. The room is mechanically decoupled from the rest of the rooms, insulated like the rest of the project, and connected through its own dedicated wall box, which is mirrored in the control room on a direct, dedicated panel for Instruments/Speakon connections. It also includes audio and CAT5 digital connections. The room has been treated with a large dedicated bass trap to prevent the major standing waves caused by its narrow, long rectangular shape. Even so, direct microphone recordings are carried out here without interference from the surrounding environment.

N.B. - ALL ROOMS CAN OPERATE SIMULTANEOUSLY TO RECORD A BAND.

Airflow, Conditioning e Vmc

All studio rooms are equipped with a controlled ventilation system featuring a “silencing” setup, ensuring proper air exchange and continuous renewal between CO2 and fresh clean air. In addition, each room has its own dedicated air conditioning system.

Art as ultimate purpose. Passion as the only guide.
